clearing table buffer

Hi all, i'm having a problem clearing a table buffer after saving a record.  I'm restarting the form, but for some reason the table buffer isn't clearing out and some fields are carrying over into the new record.  Anyone have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

I'm using dex for GP 2013 SP1.

thanks!

Aaron

    Thanks Steve

I found that in the documentation as well.  I didn't think to look at the "restart form" statement for the answer because I'm not having this issue on my other forms.

    Good Find, much appreciated!

I just checked the Dexterity documentation for the "restart form" statement. It clearly states that the table buffers aren't cleared. It says you'll need to use the "clear table" statement to clear out the table buffers.

How are you determining that the table buffer isn't getting cleared out?

The only thing I know of that affects field values during a "restart" operation is the SavedOnRestart property for window fields. If that property is set to true, then the window field value will be preserved during the restart process.
