CRM 2016 Internal chat function

Hi

We got a potentiel customer, who ask for a internal chat function. They want a chat function so the users can chat with each others insite CRM. There is now B to C invovled in this.

Anyone knows of such a functionality?

    Hi.

    Your customer asked for a live chat between two users, right? There is no OOB-function implemented in CRM 2016. For this you have to look for Third-party-solutions.

    You can integrate yammer.

    Otherwise I would just use Skype for business as a chat-tool intercompany. The status of Skype is shown as colors next to the username (red/green/orange)

    Conversation history can be saved in exchange.

    But if you need the logs directly in CRM as sort of OOB functionality, that is, as mentioned above, not a thing.
