I would like to understand how CRM entities work in real world.
Like, how the business modules are mapped with CRM modules/entities while implementing a project for any business domain?
Can someone please share some real world examples/case study documents to me?

I believe you are aware about all MS CRM modules before starting with development.
Let consider example of computer hardware sale:
in above case, if you want to sale your products (computer hardware) you will get questions like
1. To whom
2. Where
3. When
4. How
5. What
Now lets consider that you are having number of customers those are already your customers and some of the customers are new those who want to buy products.
So, here sales process start with lead info(unprocessed data) and will end with invoice(this is nothing but bill payment received from user)
basically in CRM there are few entities that we can use as it is to process for direct business use where as few entities we need to create depend on requirement.
1. Lead - Unprocessed data of customer
2. Opportunity - Qualified data of customer
3. Account - Customer details
4. Contact - Customer contact details
5. Quote - in general term its quotation
6. Order - Orders from customer
7. Products - What kind of product user required
8. Invoice: Bill received from customer.
Here, I've tried to explain you sales module entities that we can use in real scenarios
