During some lower-level monitoring of the payroll run in GP 2010, we noticed a lot of activity involving this in the trace logs. It almost looks like a GP table name but I can't find anything on it. Anyone?

You are correct, this has to do with the module Canadian Payroll. Here is the detail on the table
CPY20100 CDN Payroll Control Master P_CPY_Control P_CDN_Payroll

The CPY20100 table is the Canadian Payroll Control Master.
This table keeps track of a large amount of static data on the setup and configuration of the Canadian Payroll module.
