Need to customized product grid layout in POS screen.

Added new custom fields in grid. however all added custom fields are editable.

Is there any settings which i can apply to make these custom fields non-editable for POS uses?

Can I change the exsiting header columns in product grid like 'Quantity' to 'QTY'
