Portal - Direct link to SSO login on header

Hi,

my customer asked me to go directly to SSO login page when clicking on "Sign in" hyper link on the header of the web site, without visiting the page with the local login and the federated login buttons.

Is that possible?

Best regards.

    Hi,

Could you provide more info on how you set this up?

I'm trying to do the same for my system, with integration with ADFS.

When my user access the port xxxx.microsoftcrmportals.com, it will perform seamless sign on authentication with my on-premise ADFS, auto login the user to the portal without any Sign in click.

Appreciate your prompt reply. Thank you.

    Hi Luca,

I tried this but when i press sign-in now I get a 401 error. Any Idea about this?

    Kind Regards,

    Niels

    At this link:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/set-authentication-identity

I figured out that the following site setting

    Authentication/Registration/LoginButtonAuthenticationType

    does the trick!

As per the Dynamics 365 roadmap this is possible - (roadmap.dynamics.com > Whats New). You will need to use the latest version of Dynamics 365 and Portals.

Support Azure AD-B2C for Portal authentication using a single sign-on (SSO) configuration -

For Portals that require a consumer based login, this feature will now support the ability to:

Configure your portal authentication to use a Single Sign-On configuration

Support Azure AD-B2C for customer authentication

Manage your Portal security in Azure

    * depends on Azure AD-B2C availability in the region(s) Portals are deployed
