Receipt Number Bar code not showing

we`re using last version of Store Commerce application on finance and operations back office version 10.0.35.(On-premises)

I`ve fully setup retail and commerce module and the POS application is working fine, the only issue is that in the receipt format, the receipt number Barcode field is not printed as barcode on PDF or on paper when printed by POS printer, you can see the image below:

as you can see, the format is recognized as bar code but it`s showing the number instead of bar code. I`ve tried some BC fonts like code39 and code128 fonts but it`s not working.

is there any specific font or setting that I`m missing?

your help is appreciated.

Hi，
To use barcodes in Commerce, you can complete the following steps based on the document content. Set up bar codes - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
1.Set barcode mask characters.
2.Set barcode mask.
3. Configure barcode settings.
4. Create barcodes for products.
You may need to adjust the font size correctly; you can check out this old thread:

Which printer (make/model) and driver (OPOS/Windows) are you using?

Hi Shafeeque

The printer is CITIZEN, Model: CT-S2000 and the driver is selected as Windows

But issue is not the printer, as I said, even when we set the printer as PDF and a PDF file is generated, it`s the same as Image I sent in my post.

Hi Hana, thanks for your reply.

what you mentioned in steps 1 to 4 is totally a different thing and is related to generating product bar code.

my issue is about using the out-of-the-box "receipt number Bar code" field in customer receipt designer.

the print of customer receipt shows the field as numbers instead of Bar code. (though it has the "B: " Tag which shows the format recognizes it as a bar code field but cannot show the Bar code)

we tested many scenarios with different fonts and sizes but still no luck.

Hi,
You can try adjusting the barcode height and width, but depending on the POS printer, it may or may not be scanned as the resolution of the barcode is affected. You can check if the links below help.
