Hi Guys

When we fully ship a sales order, the order is deleted and archived. With this is there a way to show the original order qty on sales shipment print document?

thanks

You can get it from Archived Sales Order

Yes I thought about it but it's not that easy as for a given sales order, archive can have multiple iterations of the same order.

    Hello,

Yes, it should be possible to find the information about the "original quantity" when the order gets archived (this can still be different form the quantity which has been entered in the very beginning - but this can also be seen in the archive - that's why we have the archive - to keep the different "versions" of an order).

For now this would be on an individual base.

But I also think this is a good candidate for a "product suggestion" ... to have the chance to get this done in the standard package and make this individual change obsolete on the long run.

search for the application "Dynamics 365 Busines Central" and then add your suggestion / vote for an existing suggestion.

Depending on the number of votes for the same suggestion this suggestion gets populated and further discussed.

    Kind Regards

Like discussed here below, you will be able to find the information somewhere in the db, but if it's not already in the report dataset, then you can not add it, since you can't extend the dataset of a report (yet). This means you will have to create a copy of the report and convert it into a new one, and then program the required changes in the dataset, and then add it to the layout...
