Hi,

Is it possible to add Custom Control for web client, similar to the controls (autocomplete, input mask etc) already available for Phone and Tablet.
How can I achieve this. Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,

Faheem

    Hello Faheem,

Those custom controls that are only available for Phone and Tablet will become available on the V9.0.

If you require solutions like "Auto Complete" there is a sample from Microsoft that can help you building one: msdn.microsoft.com/.../mt607648.aspx

    Cheers!

All the Custom Control that are available in Dynamics 365 for Phone and Tablet, are not available for Dynamics 365 v8.2 for Web. The only Custom Control that is available for web is the Editable Subgrid.

Dynamics 365 v9 presents the Unified Interface where all there is no more separate interfaces for Phone and Tablet, but a Unified Interface which is available for Web, Phone and Tablet. Most of these controls are also available in the legacy interface on v9. Dynamics 365 also introduces the Custom Control Framework which is the foundation for the development of your own custom controls.

Take a look at this in the following You Tube video:

    Hope this helps.
