G/L Account Sub Categories Upload

Dear Members,

I have a question on how to upload account subcategory for all the accounts in Chart of Accounts in Business central. I tried uploading through edit in excel but it doesn't include the subcategory field. I also tried uploading through configuration package but it also doesn't include the field. How to upload subcategory for all accounts in business central ?Please help me to resolve this issue.

Subcategories are denominated using the Parent No. field, rather than a simple subcategory field. So you have to use the parent no. field. For this reason, usually I just manually enter these in the system rather than use edit in excel or configuration packages.

Hi, Try importing field Account Subcategory Entry No. (80, Integer). The value is in the G/L Account Category (570) table.
