Teammember licesence privilege

I will question about Teammember licesence.

The following items are not available in the license guide.

①import data in bulk

②system reports, charts, and dashboards

Question:

1.What functions do you mention about ① above, do you include frequently used data import

2. As for the above ②, I think that customization of the system dashboard can not be used, but can you refer to it?

Also, do you have something like a security role template that corresponds to the authority of the teammember license?

If you know, please teach me.

Appendix B of the licensing guide has a nice chart mbs.microsoft.com/.../Dynamics365EnterpriseEditionLicensingGuide.pdf that tells exactlly what you can and can't do with a lot of detail. I would suggest reviewing that one. We could type it all in here but it would be just a repeat of the guide

Hi Skyfuture,

As per the licensing guide that you mention, the team member license (formerly essential license), is limited and does not have full access to all parts of the system.

If there are features that are required to Administer, you can use an Administrative License or a Full License (Enterprise Plan or Product).

There will be some limitations with Team License. Although currently it is not enforced (Microsoft trusts you), it will be in the future (don't know which release).

With regard to enforcing role limitations, is this fact or hearsay? I ask as Microsoft have been historically "relaxed" when it comes to this kind of restriction. If fact, do we have any indication of when?

Right now there is no enforcement. They trust you to apply the correct security role to limit the team member license. In the future, we are not sure what they are going to do.
