Hello BC Forum,
I want to settle / pay a credit memo. When I fill in the Applies-to_Doc. No BC fills in the necessary data and a positive amount which is to my opinion correct because after posting the balance of the credit memo should be zero.
But BC gives an error stating that the amount should not be positive. I then changed the amount to negative, although the balance of the credit memo is then twice the amount, but now BC says positive must be equal to yes in cust Ledger entry. How can I settle / pay a credit memo in BC? And yes: I have read several MS documents about the matter, but sometimes the documents are not that clear (to me) or there is too much information to go through for such a simple thing as to settle / pay a credit memo.
