Retained Earning Balance not showing in Consolidated financial reports

Dear Members,

I created a consolidated entity combining two standalone entities which had the same currency value. While consolidating the entities all the balances were consolidated in Trial balance. But we had a mismatch in retained earnings it did not fetch the Year end closure balance. so I made year end closure in the consolidated entity now the retained earnings balance matches but it is not being displayed  in financial statement - Balance sheet. The consolidation translation method I mentioned for all the accounts including retained earnings  was Closing rate (Please refer to the attached image). Please help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks in Advance,
Sneha

Most probably your financial statements are setup to only display entries that have a business unit code. As the closing entry doesn't have one, it doesnt get displayed on the report. If you're using the financial reporting module then check what filters you have applied in the row/column definitions.

    Dear Valentin,

Thank you for the response. I have setup the financial statements using business unit code in column definition. I would like to know how to display closing entry in the financial reports. Please find the attached image for your reference and help me to resolve this.

    Thanks
    Sneha

Create a third column where the Business Unit field is empty.
