Fixed assets puchase order to fixed asset (under construction)

Posted on by 2,721

Hi

when we purchase a fixed asset thru a  purchase order , this fixed asset directly gets the Status "aquired" when the puchaseorder is invoice.

Is there a way that the fixed asset is just created ("under construction") and can be "aquired"  / "acitivated" Manual?

thanks

    Hi Pirim,

Would be great if you could update us once you finished your tests and let us know whether some additional help/support is required.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hi Pirmin Bercher,

At the time you post the packing slip the fixed asset is just created.

Posting the PO invoice means that everything is ok and that the invoice amount posted can be activated.

If you do not like the activation, have a look at your fixed asset parameter and check whether or not the allow asset acq. from PO parameter is set and/or whether changing this parameter setup makes a difference to your acquisition process.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
