how to add a phone call activity to a group of users

Hi,

Is there anyway to add a phone call activity to a group of users without adding them one by one? I'm just checking if I can add a group of users to the "To" field of a phone call, so that all the users will see that phone call in their activity list. It would be ideal if I can add a team to a phone call. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Lavanya,

    The From and To fields of a Phone Call is linked to ActivityParty, which is activity party is only limited to Account, Contact, Lead, and User.

    You cannot add linked Team to those fields as ActivityParty...

    You should add multiple users, activity party can support multiple record, but cannot insert Team as a group..

    Thanks for the response & I think your solution is the easiest.

    Is there any possibility to add "Team" entity to the "To" lookup field in phone call activity?

    This would be the ideal solution but I'm not sure if this is possible.

    You can also use the CRM's import tool from csv file.

    You can create a phone call and specify the owner as a team can't you?

    Yes, you can through quick campaign or campaign, you can mass distribute phone calls to mass account/contact/lead. On the distribute wizard you can choose that the owner of the account/contact/lead will be the owner of the campaign activity (phone call for example).
