Business Process Flows are suddenly reverted back to their OOB state

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

A customer has created his own custom (unmanaged) solution and customized the default, OOB lead-to-opportunity and the opportunity process. The BPF's were imported into the unmanaged solution. This was done a few weeks ago.

Over the past few days, I believe update 9.0.2 had been rolled out. Today, it turns out those two BPFs have been reverted back to their original state. All custom fields and whatnot are still present without a problem.

Is this normal behavior?

Did it happen in the sandbox?  First i have heard of this but that is why we usually test in sandbox.   Updates should not happen unless they approved them.
