Hello Microsoft Dynamics CRM Support,

I have two questions regarding the CRM (im using now test trial to see if CRM applies my needs of the company).

1) i need URL call pop up using the phone number, when i searched a number on CRM i get url :
"https://voxianetworks.crm4.dynamics.com/main.aspx#283731433" in need variable phone number in order to use URL for popup every incoming/outgoing call i will have from customer.

I need URL to be like this : for example on ZEBRA CRM "https://19311.zebracrm.com/crm.php?a=customers/show_details_card_by_phone&phone=%callerid%" the "phone=%callerid% , lets CRM zebra to pop up every incoming/outgoing call the user with the phone number which helps me, to know which customer it is based on CRM details.

please send me the URL for that.

2) Where the Token API, i want to try and put call log of my customers on the CRM, please let me know how can i get my API token

Hi Voxia,

Details of CRM user are not passed through url in CRM (except a developer sends them as query parameters)

In your first question, Are you trying to open a third party application by passing a Phone number through URL?.

If yes, You need to consider using Ribbon button and on click on Ribbon button you can route to Third party application.

Regarding second question, it looks you are trying to access CRM application data.

If yes, You need to visit Settings -> customizations -> Developer resources and see different options of accessing CRM data through SOAP and REST end points and Azure end points.

If you are exploring on logging data in CRM, you can explore auditing of CRM.

1)I didnt find the ribbon button you said in order to use URL wih callerid(phone number of customer) and not with ID.

please help ( i need the url to be like voxiasupport.crm4.dynamics.com/main.aspx

phone=%callerid%)

2)Regarding Rest URL API:

i guess this is the url i need to use

How do i set token/Oauth to open access? which username/password im sending?

here is a script of what i want to do.(how can i attached file).

I succeed it on other CRMS.

Hi,

I understand that you have 2 requirements.

1. You want to pass phone number as parameter to third party applcation.

To achieve this, Create a HTML web resource with a button .

In a button click , use window.open() method by passing phone number as parameter.

You can retrieve phone number through xrm.page methods.

2. To establish connection with CRM, You can use sample provided in CRM SDK 2016 in path \SDK\SampleCode\CS\QuickStart.

I think https://<subdomain>.api.crm4.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.2/ is the endpoint we are all looking for.
