CTRL+V not working

Hi everybody,
 
As of last week Dynamics 365 Business Central won't let me paste a copied text using CTRL+V. It pops out this box on the right-side of my screen with the text I want to paste. If I hit the ENTER key or click the PASTE box, it doesn't paste but closes the boxes. Sometimes the boxes appear then disappear immediately. I can still paste using the right-click on my mouse and selecting PASTE. Other hotkeys work just fine. 
 
I have no idea what is causing this and I have not found any other people reporting this issue. This has been slowing me down and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, it seems your screenshot didn't upload successfully.
    On which page did you paste what content? You mentioned a pop-up box appearing on the right? That doesn't seem to be standard behavior.

    tried to paste "test" on the "ressouce" line

    Thank you for your help. The file didn't upload because it says "Your file is currently under scan for potential threats. Please wait while we review it for any viruses or malicious content." I have attached it as a PDF of the screenshot to this reply.
     
    Ctrl+v doesn't work when I am in General Journals, Recurring Journals, Payment Journals, etc. The places I need it the most. However, it does work when I ctrl+v in vendor/customer profile pages. So it is not broken everywhere, just in the journals.

    A user I support is having the same issue and it started around the same time.
    It's effecting Firefox, but not Chrome.
    It's not a fix, but Ctrl+Shift+V or Shift+Insert still work for her.

    I couldn't find this issue in BC Known Issues.
    Perhaps you could try other browsers and Incognito/inprivate mode first.

    Hi, We are facing the same thing in Firefox around the same time. Incognito does not change the behaviour for our users, this white box on the right side in BC still opens and shows what text should be pasted into the selected field. Rightclick and paste works as well, as Ctrl+Shift+V as workaround.

    Thank you so much for the help everybody. It is a Firefox only issue. I tested it in Microsoft Edge and had no issues. I appreciate all the responses.

    We are seeing the same behaviour and my initial thought was that it was caused by a change in BC.
    After some testing I however found that the issue was present in Firefox version 148, but not in Firefox ESR version 140.
    This points towards that it is caused by a change in Firefox.
    For now we are using Shift+Ctrl+V as a workaround.
