"Set Up Reporting Data" feature in "Assisted Setup" is missing

Hi,

I am trying to create a new dataset via the Assisted Setup -> Set Up Reporting Data feature in our BC Sandbox environment.

However, I do not see such feature in the Assisted Setup list in our environment, as shown in the below screenshot, the "Set up reporting data" option is missing.

Somehow, this feature does exist in the Assisted Setup list in the Production site.

My question is, is this "Set up reporting data" feature only available to the production environment?

If not, (which is highly likely to be the case), can someone point out where should we look into to bring that feature back on the Assisted Setup list?

Hi,

In this case pls import all the setup feature in Sandbox again.

Are you sure this is a standard feature and not a feature that is customized? If it is customized it is probably installed in your production environment and not in your sandbox.

Hi Amit, thank you for the quick reply.

I just find out that there are 4 companies under our Sandbox environment (gear icon -> My Settings -> Company), "CRONUS USA Inc" and "My company" does have that feature in the "Assisted setup" list, but "Config Company" and "test" somehow are missing the feature.

Is this by any chance the default design?

Or it's something missing during the process of creating the companies, and as you pointed out, importing all setup features again will help to fix the issues in these two companies with issue?

Hi Inge, thank you for your reply.

Yes, I believe this is the standard feature because I have seen some documentations and video leveraging this function to create dataset in BC.

FYI, here is an instruction I was following but failed to locate the feature in my company site.

Ok, now i think i understand what you want to use.

Do you find this menu item in your web services page?

I don't think it is necessary to go through assisted setup to activate this.

Thank you Inge, that's what I was looking for.

It's weird the "set up reporting data" does not show in the assisted settings menu for some companies though.

But your solution worked like a charm!
