How to Edit Fetch XML report in Visual Studio 2012

Hi,

I heed to edit a MS CRM 2013 report in Business Intelligence Development Studio. But I cannot frind CRM fech XML data source in side Visual Studio 2012 BIDS. Please advice.

If you are trying to edit out of the box report, unfortunately you can't do that, you have to re-write full report with your changes. Check CRM SDK for developing fetchXRML report.

Hi,

But this was possible in Visual Studio 2008 and SQL server 2008 R2 BIDS. Why they exclude this from the new version. I can still edit the reports in the old BIDS and upload into CRM. But cannot do the same with SQL 2012 and VS 2012.
