View Background/Realtime processes for opportunity

dear all

how i can view the Background/Realtime processes for opportunity , unlike the other entities (like CASE), there is no direct link from the upper ribbon to view these two processes.

also searching for this in the SystemJobs is very difficult.

please help.

Hi Ahmad ,

Real-time workflows do not use System Jobs records (as they run immediately). There is no logging for successful real-time workflows.

In the workflow, check “Keep logs for workflow jobs that encounter errors”. Errors will then appear in the Process Sessions tab which you added already.

sorry Goutam, the previous reply was for another question, please ignore it.

now, regarding your last reply, i do have some of the real-time workflows.

are you saying that the icon for "Realtime" will only show if some realtime workflows fail? sorry i am not getting your point.

Hi

the code does not need any modification, it works fine.

but as i mentioned, it does not work only for the new security role which i mentioned in my first post, so i think some permissions are missing to allow running this script.

Hi Ahmad,

Real time workflows jobs will be available only when it fails .

so please check if you have any real time workflow which is in failure status.

Ahmad,

Maybe I was not clear in my first reply. What you need to do is:

1. Open the form customization. Settings > Customizations > Customize the system

2. Under the entities, scroll down to the opoortunity entity > Forms

3. Open the main entity form

4. Double click the left area in the form. This area is related to the navigation

5. In the right pane, select the needed relationships for the BG/RT workflows.

6. Save and close the entity form

7. Publish your customizations

Note: the above steps can be done by system administrator/customiser

thanks for your answer, but please check my question again, I mentioned oppotunity as the entity i face this problem with, Case is fine.

in fact, i was referring to case as an example of how easy to get access to these BG/RT processes, i need the same but for opportunity.
