Hello experts,

What is the best way to update multiple planned production orders, if for example there is change in BOM or routes. Can data management help here or do any of you know "import planned production orders"  functionality and can explain this?

Thank you in advance for any advices.

Best regards

Hello, as STD you cannot import or amend planned orders in 365 via import/update process.

That screen you showed seems a customisation.

If you use MRP , D365 will recalculate requirements and suggest fresh planned orders taking into account active formulas/boms and routes.

Thank you for your respond. What do you recommend if we have many planned production orders that need to be updated?

Use MRP engine so all is as standard and gets updated with any MRP run.

It sounds like you are pushing the production plan in D365 which is not STD.

Agree with Allesandro, the purpose of master planning is to analyze and then generate planned orders and messages based on changes since the last time MRP was run. An MRP generation will take into account your updates to bills of materials and routes. This is normal procedure to run MRP and have it consider those changes and establish a new plan based on the latest data
