Build 2.0.2014 - When entering transaction info we receive run time error 91

Posted on by

We were on build 2.0.0155, several years behind on updates, and recently caught up.  Overall things are working smoothly, however now when making notes on a customer invoice (shift + F9), after filling in the Transaction Information window and hitting enter we receive a message box which says "Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set.

From what I can tell, this error can be caused by many things.  Any ideas on what could be causing it or steps I can take to fix it?

We had the same issue today with a customer, we ended up rolling back to CU5.

Thank you both for your responses.  Removing the hotfix resolved the issue.

You should roll back to CU5.  unless you specifically need hotfix updates after CU5.  Only install hotfixes after a service pack or cumulative update if you are experience the problem described.

Then always test that hotfix before implementing into production.

Unless one of the hotfixes after 2.0.2000 apply to you, just rollback the installed updates to version 2.0.2000. (CU5). This is the most recent stable version. After that version, some other problems appeared in some of the hotfixes like 2.0.2002 through 2.0.2014
