Search Scope (Searching Closed Opportunities/Leads)

Hi,

I cannot search for opportunities or leads that have been closed.

I've tried changing my current list view to include All Opportunities, I've tried searching in all search fields in different locations throughout CRM, no matter what I do - I can't use the search field to find closed opps.

I know the opportunities exist, if I switch view to "All Opportunities" I can see it right there.

Please help.

Hello,

Most of the view will use status equals to open as criteria, so it won't search for closed opportunity, but you should be able to search your opportunity using advanced fined saying status close or can remove open criteria from quick views, then it will also search for closed one.

Hi,

Using Advanced Find is very time consuming (as is generating reports).

How can I "remove open criteria from quick views"?

I've already got System & Personal Quick Views that include closed opportunities.

1) I select that view.

2) I used the search field "in that view".

3) It still brings back zero results.

Navigate to Settings->Customization->Customize the system->Component->Entities->Opportunity->Views and open quick find view, Click on Edit Filter Criteria and delete open filter. Save and publish your changes.
