CRM 2011 Outlook Client can not open CRM records

Hallo,

I have the following Problem.

When I try to open a CRM record within my Outlook nothing happens.

I have all necessary permission and I can open the records in CRM 2011.

I tried to enable the CRM Add-in but nothing changed. I also tried to use the diagnostic tool and delete the temp data.

In Addition, I tried to treck the System, but I cannot find a reason, why it doesn't work in the data.

Has someone another idea?

Thanks in advance,

Amber

The first thing that comes to mind is; check that the version of the CRM Outlook client matches the server version.  Go to File-->CRM-->About Microsoft Dynamics CRM to see the versions.

    Hi Amber,

In 2011 check out the following post which should help.

    www.powerobjects.com/.../maintaining-the-outlook-client-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011

It will help you trace and use a troubleshooting wizard as well.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks,
