Integrate Item from AX2009 to D365 in AS400

Hi All,

Wanted to know how we can integrate items master from AX2009 to D365 in AS400 database.

Is integration and migration is the same term as when i am searching i am getting migration in search not integration.

Could you please help on the procedure

    Hello Pramila,

    When you say 'migration' we usually refer to a one-time transfer of data, such as items from a previously used system to D365FO.

    Integrations to D365FO usually refers to a permanent exchange of data, either in one direction or bi-directional between D365FO and another external or 3rd party system.

    What is it that you plan to do exactly?

    Can you elaborate on that?

    Hi Pramila,

    What exactly do you want to achieve here? Do you have a managed cloud environment or are you running on-premise?

    In fact there is a difference between integration (recurring) and migration (once). Can you also explain your comment o this?

    I am working on cloud environment in D365, i have to integrate AS400 data in D365.

    Previously we have AX2012 but now it is D365 and client use AS400 software where they have the data but now it has to be integrated in D365.

    Want to know how it will be done.
