Priority Field on Case Form does not allow selection

Priority on a case does not allow you to select; requirement was to have the ability to select "high" and "medium"

Problem: as i added priority field as high medium but those changes are not showing for already created case why?? PFA20_2D00_38.PNG

    Please make sure that your old cases are not in resolved state. How have you created a record without entering the required fields?? Is it getting imported from somewhere.
