I used to be able to do http://[organization]/api/data/v8.2/?fetchXml=[fetchXml query] and it would return the result,but it doesn't work anymore, it only returns the metadata as if I didn't write anything after v8.2/. Anyone knows why?

    Hi,

    Between / and ?fetchxml you must add the entity collection name.

    For example, let's consider querying account entity, the url should be:

    [Organization URI]/api/data/v8.2/accounts?fetchXml=

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../mt607533.aspx

    Hi,

    you can test your fetchXML with the CRMRestBuilder: github.com/.../CRMRESTBuilder
