Getting Todays day in workflow

Hi,

I need to get Todays day in workflow. The functionality I need to create is if today's day is Friday then set date on field as +2 days and if today day is Monday then set it as +1 day.

Hi Samira Mirza,

I believe this is not possible in OOB workflow. You could achieve this by using custom workflow activity.

In OOB workflow we can check/compare only dates not a day.

Hi Smaira,

As suggested above, there is nothing within CRM by default to achieve this but you can use the Date utility built by Jason Lattimer and use the "Get Day of the Week" step. To get today date, you need to use Process >> Execution time.
