I inheritted a custom SL 7.0 screen and when I try to open the screen\form in Visual Studio 2008, I get the errors below. I am guessing that I need to install something, any help??

    Q

I can't read the error details from your post - dunno if others are able to do so...

Can you post brief text of the error?

I note you are using VS 2008.

What "version" of Dynamics SL 7.0 are you using?

I am using VS 2005 with the "original" 7.0.

    I am using VS 2008 with 7.0 FP1.

I believe that 2005 can be used with FP1.

But I'm not sure if 2008 can be used with "original" 7.0.

Is there a "full install" of Dynamics SL on the development machine?

(As opposed to a "client install", which, apparently, is not sufficient.)

The sequence of installing things is important.

VS should be installed on the development machine.

Then do a full install of Dynamics SL on that machine.

Is that the sequence in which you did things?

Although I think you can fix problems from installing in the wrong sequence by uninstalling/reinstalling the Dynamics SL Client.

Hope those odd comments are some use.

    Q

The error "class not registered" suggests to me that there is not a full install of Dynamics SL on the development machine.
