Import-NAVServerLicense : The following SQL error was unexpected:
The UPDATE permission was denied on the object '$ndo$srvproperty', database 'master', schema 'dbo'.

Faced  this issue while importing the license to the database , I have the db owner rights too.

Any suggestions ?

It'll be the NST service account permissions.

You could try importing the license into the database, rather than global using the -Database flag, for example:

Import-NavServerLicense -ServerInstance test -LicenseFile "license.flf" -Database NavDatabase

This worked , when I gave myself SYSADMIN rights :)

arh yes, don't know what I was thinking.. you'd need permissions on the master database or simply sysadmin

In which case your original command should work?
