Hello,

When I create a new budget and export it to Excel, the Dimension display shows me " No active format for data entities has been set up.
Set up an active format for each dimension format type. " instead of Main account + department.

I've made sure that there IS an active format for data entities, and I made sure that it's for budget. I've done the same exact step on a different legal entity and it worked fine.

No matter what I try on this specific legal entity though, I get that error. Even when I tried exporting "BudgetRegisterEntry" from the Data Management module, I got the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming this is F&O, what configuration do you have in General Ledger > Chart of Accounts > Dimensions > Financial Dimension configuration for integrating applications in the Legal Entity?

This is indeed F&O, and I've figured out what my issue was.

I did indeed set up an active format for data entities, and it was for budget, HOWEVER, there are TWO budget formats; Budget register dimension format, and Budget planning dimension format. I had previously chosen the latter, which caused the error.

When I went back to it and chose Budget register dimension format, it worked fine.
