Cannot do Item Transfer between same site ID with same QTY type

And I tried to transfer from on hand QTY to on hand QTY.

But GP wouldn't let me to do so.

Isn't this kind of transfer a regular item transfer?

Is there a solution?

Thanks!

Jim

What is the desired end result here?

You can only use the Item Transfer Entry window to transfer quantities from one site to another or to transfer an item quantity from one quantity type to another quantity type in the same site.  In your case, you either need to set the To Site to something other than "WAREHOUSE" or you need to change the "To Site: Quantity Type" to something other than "On Hand."

If you are using multi-bin, then you can use the Bin to Bin Transfer Entry window to move items from one bin to another within the same site.

    Hi David,

I am trying to transfer from one bin to another within the same site. Multi-bin is enable but the bin button is greyed out in Transfer entry window. Any ideas here?

    Thanks

Were you using GP and then enabled multi-bin later?   I have generally pulled out inventory and then put it back in with bins in cases such as that.   That said, I have never experienced the greyed out option before, but I believe when multi-bin is enabled, the system may require an inventory reconcile.  Was that completed?
