Hi,
Does the quick search criteria works only for default view ? Looks like it doesn't work/applicable for other custom views . Could you please let me know your thoughts. Thanks !!

Your understanding is correct , quick find view is separate view and it will not show as per your custom view.
You can configure quick find view depending on your fields and criteria. Whenever you search it will be display all the columns according to quick find view and filter.

The Quick Search will work based on the QuickFindView filters and if you want search based on you custom fields, need to add to the Find columns in Quickind view.
