I am facing problem to configure Chart of accounts to client given number serious.
Example: I have a chart of account in given number serious by client

After Upload the COA in Business Central it will sort different

I have the same question (0)

Hello,

In your pic it does not show any COA with 5 digits. BC will sort COA's in numeric order so the 2nd pic is sorting correctly.

You need to have the same number of digits, otherwise it will not sort out nicely. BC sort code by text, not number.

Hi, as mentioned by the above experts, there is no problem with the ordering of the system, Similar to the file name in windows, it is sorted according to the first number first, and then so on.

If you want to solve this problem, it is recommended to use the No. 2 field (Or add a new field), and enter the order you want in this field, such as 0,1,2,3. Then make a small customization and sort according to No. 2 in OnOpenPage (Page) Trigger.
