Dashboard List Always Sorted

Dear All,

I am creating custom Dashboards for my Company and im trying to create a list, with all currently available quotes.

Is there a way to set a Standard sorting order? Basically I'm trying to Display the currently active largest quotes or largest orders... but of course also with another view maybe the next expiry date for a Quote.

So is there a way to fix a list with a permanent sorting order?

Regards and thanks for your help

    Hey there,

the view which you are using in the dashboard - you can apply sorting on the columns :

By default you can configure 2 sorting columns in CRM. The first one will be Sort By and second column will be then by.

For example if you want to sort your account view based on created on then Account name. In that case you need to use frst Sort By in Desc on created on and then use Account name.

It will sort your view on 2 columns First it will sort by Created on and then by Account Name.

to do this - open the view from customization and click on "configure sorting" add columns and test it.

    Hey Rawish,

    thanks for your reply.

Does this also work for personal views or is this limited to customizing the Standards of crm?

It used to be possible for 2011 as far as i remember where user could open his/her view settings but now a user will have to every time do a sorting by clicking on the column header when view opens.
