Fixed Assets Depreciation February 2020

HI All

I have a question on Fixed Assets depreciation for February, we are doing a trial run and my fixed assets are depreciating over 31 days instead of 30.

Regardless of switching the paramater below on or off it doesnt make a difference. Why would it be 31 days in February?

Hi,
It depends at which date you registered the Acquisititon Costs or the last Depreciation.

A.
Acquisition 01.01.2020
Depreciation for JAN 2020 = 30 days
then calculate for FEB = 30 days

B.
Acquisition 31.01.2020
then calculate for FEB = 31 days (one day for JAN)

Hi Sueg18,

on Version 15 there is an additional field: "Use Accounting Periods". that will follow the monthly depreciation.

Otherwise when you run the Calculate depreciation report, you can force the number of days manually:
