I would like to know if there is a possiblity to enable Two step verification with Google Authenticator when user tries to log-in? Or, do you suggest any other way how to achieve the same thing?

BR,

Miha

This should be what you you need: docs.microsoft.com/.../set-authentication-identity

To clarify, scroll down to the two-factor authentication area.

    Hi Miha Mocnik,

I dont think its possible to use Google Authenticator but you can use CRM Portal inbuilt two-factor authentication. This will send two-factor code to a contact email.

    Enable two-factor authentication

The two-factor authentication feature increases user account security by requiring proof of ownership of a confirmed email in addition to the standard local or external account sign-in. A user trying to sign in to an account that has two-factor authentication enabled is sent a security code to the confirmed email associated with their account. The security code must be submitted to complete the sign-in process. A user can choose to remember the browser that successfully passed the verification, so that the security code will not be required for subsequent sign-ins from the same browser. Each user account enables this feature individually and requires a confirmed email.

    Related Site Settings:

    • Authentication/Registration/TwoFactorEnabled
    • Authentication/Registration/RememberBrowserEnabled

Related Process: Send email two-factor code to a contact

    1. Enable two-factor authentication.
    2. Choose to receive the security code by email.
    3. Wait for the email that contains the security code.
    4. Process: Send Email Two Factor Code To Contact.
    5. Two-factor authentication can be disabled.

or you can enable with in contacts

There are many security vulnerabilities when using the network Protocol. In particular, this method of attack is exposed to Active Directory in the system itself. If the LDAP resource in turn is responsible directly for accessing the directory. Then your network must meet the security criteria. The solution to this approach is dspa as a dynamic two-factor databases protection directly from azure active directory as the provider of the same Micrfosoft. Therefore, this solution is more optimal. azure active directory
