Mobile App stuck on Welcome Screen

Good afternoon to everyone. I would appreciate your advise with the following problem:

Scenario:

Dynamics CRM 2016 OnPremise 8.1 using IFD and ADFS

Some users using the CRM from the Mobile App for Android. (latest version available on Google Play)

Problem:

After using the mobile app with no problems for a period of time, when the user tries to launch it again, the mobile app gets stuck on the blue Welcome Screen. Enabling the tracing log in the mobile app does not produce any file. The only way to enable the app again is remove it from the device and install it again.

Question:

* Have you face the same problem in the past? How do you troubleshoot it?

    You might want to raise ticket with Microsoft, im sure the issue must have been raised by others as well but its worth raising a ticket for a faster fix

    Thanks for your answer but although it seems to fix the problem the first time we run the app, it hangs again when the app is closed. Microsoft did provide a new version for the Android app this weekend but the problem remains. iOS app did not have the same problem.

    I had similar issues, the app somehow get stuck in the welcome screen when it tries to retrieve data from cache.

    Uninstalling and installing the app again solved the problem for me.
