Standard Journal entry - revisited

(0) ShareShare

I set up a standard journal entry by way of using a batch. Problem is I can't print out a copy of the journal entry without getting prior periods and ending up with more info than I want. Since the journal entry number never changes, I get several month's entries at a time. Is there a way to print out the entry for a single transaction date? Any ideas?

Thanks,

    Hi Tom,

From the looks of it, you are referring to repeating journal entries where the same journal entry will be used every time you post the batch.

Since this is the case, using the JE will not be applicable as it will pull up all the journal entries involved.

I recommend using the Cross-Reference Report (Reports | Financial | Cross-Reference) then use the Audit Trail Code rather than the Journal Entry.

In Cross-Reference Report (Reports-->Financial-->Cross-Reference) , you can choose JE and Date range to print the report for a single transaction date.

    Hope this helps!!!
