HI.

NEED URGENT SUGGESTION ABOUT THE SCANNER I BOUGHT FROM HP

PREVIOUSLY, I HAD A SCANNER WHICH WHEN YOU CAN AN ITEM, THE CURSOR GOES TO THE NEXT LINE ON STORE OPERATIONS POS. IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE. SO I HAD TO CHANGE TO HP PRESENTATION SCANNER. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SCANNER IS NOT AS THE SAME AS THE PREVIOUS ONE BECAUSE WHEN I SCAN, THE CURSOR DOESN'T GO TO THE NEXT LINE. IT STAYS ON THE FIRST LINE. YOU WILL HAVE TO PUSH THE ENTER BUTTON OR TAB BUTTON FOR THE CURSOR TO GO TO THE NEXT LINE.

IS THERE A SETTING OR SOME KIND OF CONFIGURATION THAT CAN BE DONE IN SOLVING THIS ISSUE? BECAUSE I WANT THE HP PRESENTATION SCANNER TO SCAN AND THE CURSOR GOES TO THE NEXT LINE, AS THE FIRST SCANNER I HAVE.

There is programming in the scanners that change these properties ("Carriage Return, etc.). You should be able to find the info on the HP Support site (oops I just checked and the docs don't seem to be available on the regular HP site or the Depot they send you to) - I have here if you can't find.

If you lookup on hp website, should be configuration barcodes you can scan. You need to change the suffix of the barcode to send enter!
