DYNSA User cannot create/save Dynamics Users

Running V9 Dynamics GP system.  When logged on as SA user the Save button on the User Setup screen works just fine.  However when logging on as the user DYNSA the Save button is grayed out.   The Dynamics and Company db are both owned by the DYNSA user.   Ideas ?

On the SQL server, open SQL management studio, then open the properties page of the DYNSA logon under security>logons.  Under Server Roles check the dbcreator role and the security administrator role.  This will allow DYNSA to do users.

Note that you are granting an advance server privledge to DYNSA.

    Regards.

What you have said is correct.  Only the 'SA' user can create and delete users.  This has to do with the permissions in the database and SQL as much as it does with GP.  This seems to be a built in limitation Microsoft added in version 8 or 9.  To the best of my knowledge this cannot be changed, meaning the only user who can create new users is 'sa'.
