How can partners get the Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management sandbox environments to have the demos, accelerators, POCs etc.

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how a Gold Dynamics partner get access to the Dynamics 365 sandbox environments to have the demos, accelerators, POCs etc. The below are very important for us as we are struggling a lot to setup the same as we don’t have the licenses from the partner benefits.

Dynamics 365 Finance
Dynamics 365 sales enterprise
Dynamics 365 supply chain management

Hey Jeff.

I know that partners can leverage part of their demos using cdx.transform.microsoft.com/experiences. There are some pre-configured options there. The second approach would be to request a trial (that is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for another 30 days) on dynamics.microsoft.com/.../.

However, it would be important that as Partner you verify the competencies that you own, so you can work with your Microsoft account representative to verify for the license status, as they would be valid for 1 year typically.

Hi Jeffkaz,

You should be able to obtain a partner license for the D365 F&O (Finance and Supply Chain Management) trial environment for 18 months. Please follow the steps learn.microsoft.com/.../sign-up-preview-subscription

Best way for Demo environments is to request a partner sandbox on [ISV] Request License (dynamics.com) , you don´t need to be an ISV to request it, a valid MPN-ID is sufficient

Gold and Silver Dynamics 365 partners can access sandbox environments for demos, accelerators, and proof of concepts (POCs) through the Microsoft Partner Sandbox License Program. Partners must request these licenses via the Experience.Dynamics.com portal, providing their Partner ID and tenant details. Once approved, they can deploy non-production instances of Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Sales Enterprise for internal testing, demos, and training. These sandbox licenses are exclusively for partner tenants and cannot be used in customer production environments.

After activation, partners can assign licenses to users via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and deploy environments through Lifecycle Services (LCS) for Finance and SCM, or the Power Platform Admin Center for Sales and Customer Engagement apps. These environments allow partners to showcase real-world scenarios, develop accelerators, and prepare client demos efficiently without consuming production licenses.
