Can anyone tell me what is all involved in creating a custom destination adapter in Integration Manager. Is there something else you have to use other than integration manager itself to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance,

Joe Critchlow

I'm not sure that you can create another destination adapter at all.  I have never heard of it anyway.

What are you looking to integrate that IM can't handle.  The reason I ask is that the company I am curently working for just purchased SmartConnect which is an integration tool similar to IM but highly customizable.  It used e-connect as it's basis but you can actually write your own e-connect stored procedures if they don't already exist (so long as you know how to do that).  It also exposes all of the e-connect nodes whereas you are limited in IM as to what they want to give you.
