Hi, I'm doing my solution deployment using this Dynamics 365 Build Tools. Upon deploying all the Steps that are included in my solution has been disabled. Why does this happen? Can configure something to stop the disabling of the steps?

    Hi Marjorie,

Make sure you are ticking Enable any SDK processing steps included in the solution while importing your managed solution -

    Hope this helps.

Hi Priyesh, thank you for your response. However, I am not using this oob solution deployment, I am using AzureDevOps D365 Builds Tools for the deployment...

    Hi Marjorie Ruiz,

Consider deploying your plugins with the Plugin Registration Tool provided by Microsoft.

Even I have also moved the solution using the Dynamics 365 build tools. for me steps that are included in the solution is enabled in the destination instance. You are using MCRM Import solution component right ?

Really? Yes, I'm using the MSCRM Import solution from the Build tools. Is there some configuration or option that  I need to update?

Yes we need to check the Publish workflows option in MSCRM Import solution component.

Oh, I thought this is intended for workflows only. Would this enable the Draft workflows too?

(I'll try it out too. Thanks a lot!)

    Hi Marjorie,

Well, if the workflow is already in Draft, then it will remain in Draft. If it was Active, only then it will be changed back to active upon importing.

    Hope this helps!
