security permission for lookup field

Hi Champions,

                   Thank you for all your support so far I am at the edge of my project

but I have a prob

 I have created a lookup field which fetch data from accounts to case

for me as system administrator it is working fine

but for my users it is not fetching data from accounts

its a important field it fetch name from account on the bases of which process runs and when it populate all the fields related to it

populate it is basically 1:N relationship field I have created and put filter to show only records related to particular company

    Hello,

    There is a high chance that your users do not have privileges to read mentioned records. Provide correspond permissions.

    I have given them read write permission

    I created a role and in that these custome entity have all the permission except delete other lookup showing drop down just this is not showing data

    Can you please provide screenshots how it is look like for you and for users, what's the difference and screenshot of privileges of user that shows privileges of user for particular entity you experience problem with.

    Hi,

          my user cannot access data from the lookup field I ve created I have given them all the permissions except delete

    But I can access those records picture below is for same record with user and sys account

    Hi Ravee,

    What is the entity type of the lookup ,is it  User/Team owned or Organization owned entity ?

    Do you have any Business Unit hierarchy ? I am suspecting that the user having lookup entity access of business unit level and you may have the lookup data of parent business unit level and the parent record is unable to access due to business unit level or user level access.

    So make sure security having lookup entity access with organization level Read, Append and Append To .
