Cannot see updated fields at vendor approval

Enabled below workflow to send for approval if there are any changes to a vendor. Approval request is created but at the time of approval, user cannot see fields updated.

    The workflow reverts the changes. I think it is expected the user adds comments to the approval request. Maybe adapt this for vendors: joshanglesea.wordpress.com/.../
