Unable to connect with dynamic 365 instance(version 8.2.x.x) using connector for Microsoft dynamics

Hi I am trying to integrate my dynamic 365 instance with NAV 2013 through a connector but while configuring it, I am getting an error "Unhandled thread exception caught. Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: "organizationname.api.crm8.dynamics.com/.../organization.svc = wsdl0".

I want to know which URL should be passed in the adapter configuration for connecting it to dynamic 365 instance. Right now I am passing discovery service URL.

Hi ,

For connecting to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, the format is typically scheme://organizationname.domainname, such as mycrm.crm4.dynamics.com, where https is the scheme, myorganization is the organization and crm4.dynamics.com is the domain.

Try using organization unique name like this post:

community.dynamics.com/.../error-quot-unable-to-login-to-dynamics-crmorganizationwebproxyclient-is-nullorganizationwebproxyclient-is-nullorganizationserviceproxy-is-nullorganizationserviceproxy-is-null-quot-during-connecting-to-crm-online-using-xrm-too

This post is for NAV 2016 that has inbuilt facility for integrating with dynamic crm. But we have to integrate dynamic 365 with NAV 2013 through connector.

Hello Ayushi

Tenfold just recently added MS office to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend. They support MS Dynamics integration also.
