Hi,

Is there any way to find out which user creates a vendor in GP ?  I see the date that the vendor was created but not the User ID.

Thanks

Not without configuring Activity Tracking. In order to do this you would need to go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > System > Activity Tracking or from the navigation pane, choose Administration > Setup > System > Activity Tracking. Choose File Tracking from the Activity Type drop-down, you can then enable Additions to Master Files then select the users and companies you would like to track the changes for.

Note that this is not retroactive, but going forward, you will have a good log of users who added master records to your system.

You can then use the Activity Tracking inquiry window or the Activity Tracking Detail report under Administration > System > General to print your tracking logs.
