Tender amount on recall not working

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

on a recall of a transaction the original tender amount was always displayed in the tender type of the tender screen. ie: if $100 transaction was paid by check if you recalled that transaction for return the tender screen had the $100 in the check tender type when it came up. With the install of FP2 this no longer works. any ideas on how to fix ? I do not see a hot fix that referenced this ......

I do not believe this is a published HF as of yet. Came via a MS secure file transfer workspace. Don't think that would help you and i'm not sure of a process to ask MS support to publish.

    Rocky

that hotfix number is not in the current list of downloadable hotfixes on

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../20SPHF-V2

The last one was Hotfix #52 KB3031731.   Dealing with multiple tenders.

MS provided a hotfix for RMS CU5 to resolve this. HF# is KB3070630

Thanks for the reply - no to both questions. no changes just applied service. We are running on SQL 2005 - wouldn't think that is an issue but I know FP2 and CU5 also install some SQL 2012 features .... grasping at straws now .....

Did you delete or inactive a tender type.  Are you trying to recall a pre FP2 transaction?

It works fine on my CU5 install which includes FP2
